Tooth Fairy

My children are not at the loose tooth stage yet. Honestly, I do not think I am going to be able to handle pulling teeth. That job will be all for daddy, and if daddy is out of town I suspect we will be taking a trip to Grammy and Pop's house for some tooth pulling assistance.

While I will not be capable of pulling a tooth, I will be capable of purchasing a super cute tooth fairy pillow.  I love these sweet pillows from Lil Toothless Monkey! They are all around $14 and so super cute.

I also like the idea of having a dish on your child's bedside table. This makes for a less sleep disturbing tooth fairy. Sunshine Ceramics have some really sweet ones!

So....I guess I should actually schedule my kids' first dentist appointments before I worry about the tooth fairy, huh?

Chic Memories

There are many things I struggle to keep up with as a busy mommy of two, but somehow, I am very diligent about keeping up with my childrens photos and memory/baby books. The baby book I bought when Grace was born is very up to date, but also very blah. I was so thrilled when I was pregnant with Dean and I came across Chic Memories and their gorgeous baby books.  The Chic Memories baby books are so full of intricate details. They are worth every penny, especially for someone like me who is scapbook handicapped :)

Here are some examples of their beautiful books

This is the book I purchased for Dean. Perfection!

Matilda Jane

I am slow. I only discovered Matilda Jane this season. I was unaware of this fabulous girls clothing line and the thousands of moms who are die-hard loyal fans. This stuff is gorgeous. Let's just say, if Grace was on the Suri  Cruise budget she would be outfitted in Matilda Jane daily.

Here are a few of her fabulous designs.

and now for my sweet and sassy little model. Here is my Grace Parker in her first, and not last, Matilda Jane.

go, shop, and enjoy. If you want to make a purchase, you will need to locate a trunk keeper in your area!

The Vintage Pearl

I, along with thousands of fans, love the vintage pearl and their beautiful hand stamped jewelry. I think these pieces are the perfect mom jewelry without looking too, well, mom-ish.

This is the piece I have with my babies names and I love it! I just wore it today, in fact.

I bought this for my mom a couple Christmas's ago with all her grand babies names on it. I think she was a fan. :)

I love the option to add birthstones

I think this is a beautiful option, especially for moms or grandmas with more than two babies. I also love that the size is adjustable.

The cutoff date to have your order by Christmas is December 3rd, so it is time to shop people. Also, follow the vintage pearl blog to get some great deals and giveaways!

Shabby Apple

My friend, Kelly, introduced me to Shabby Apple and I haven't stopped drooling ever since. They have such a sweet line of baby and toddler dresses.
Here are some of my favorites...

Go. Purchase. Love.

Boys Turn!

I am picky about Dean's clothes. Generally, I don't like him wearing excessive characters or anything really animal theme or cartoon-ish. (for some reason this holds true for everything but monkeys. I struggle to resist  little monkey things on Dean. Why is this? I have no idea).
For the most part, I basically like him dressed as a mini-Jeremy whenever possible.

That's why I like this simple jacket from gymboree

I love the fuzzy lining of this cute Crazy 8 coat

This coat is SO, super cute. I love this James Dean style for my little Dean. However, I do wish it was not $50.00.

Ok, so maybe Dean doesn't have to always dress like mini Jeremy. I love this sweet bear coat and I am pretty certain Jeremy would not work so well in this get-up.

This just might be my favorite. I do believe I will web-stalk it until it goes on sale.

Now, I just need my kids to manage in their way too small coats until Christmas. :)

Chic Little Girl Jackets

I have been looking for Houston appropriate jackets for both my kids. Grace is still squeezing into last years 2T jacket and it is starting to look a little sad.

                                                        Love this Baby Gap Coat

This Crazy 8 Jacket would be so cute with Grace's black boots

This Old Navy coat is one of my favorites and it is only $28.00

This one is a little dressier than what I am looking for, but it is oh so sweet!

But, I think this one is my winner. Grace really needs casual for school and everyday wear, and I heart animal print. You can find it here!

Tomorrow....little man jackets!
