The After Math

Christmas was WONDERFUL! My babies are precious and I had so much fun watching the magic though their eyes. We had a great few days with family and now it is back to reality.
Reality is, that I am leaving town soon and I have packing, un-decorating, and a LOT of work to do since I am so behind. (thank you large kidney stone, so nice of you to take total control of my body a few days before Christmas. I have plenty of time to work, nothing but time....no problem)
I will be back with more cute kid finds in a week or so. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas!!!

alacrity shout out!

I was so excited when I woke up and saw this shirt featured on the blog famous nie nie dialogues this morning!
My friend, Kelly, is the designer behind alacrity designs and I am so thrilled Nie Nie loves her bronco shirt as much as I do!

Grammy has this shirt waiting under her tree for Dean this year, and I am SO excited for him to wear it. Total preciousness!

Anthro Kids

Anthropologie for kids? Yes, please. Good thing the only available size in this dress is size 6 month, because I would have been tempted. Very, very tempted.

BB Blocks

We have all seen adorable monthly photos of sweet growing newborns on our favorite blogs and friends facebook profiles, right? I came across these sweet blocks and they are the perfect addition to these little weekly or monthly photo sessions. They are $40. for the set and I think they make a fabulous, unique baby gift.

You can purchase them here!

Grace's First Birthday

Since I get so much joy from planning my babies birthday parties, I thought I would share some of the cuteness. I really try to keep things cute, inexpensive, and FUN!
It only makes sense to start with Grace's first birthday. It was a cute, sassy zebra and hot pink party.
I wanted her to have an outfit to match the theme. Shockingly this was before etsy changed my life forever, so I purchased this somewhere on ebay.
The table was so fun and girly! I purchased cheap, pink feather boas, and the table cloth was just fabric from Walmart. I added fresh pink flowers, some beads and bling, food and voila, done!

I ordered cookies with the #1 from Posh Cookies. This is such a cute shop and they even do cute baking birthday parties!

Her cake was made by Virginia's. Y'all her cakes are soooo good. My goodness.

This just makes me want to curl up on the couch and cry.

Cake Time!

That was such a great day! I remember feeling heavy that my baby was turning one, but also excited about all the adventures that were ahead of us. I am so very thankful for this little girl!

That was Fun!

I just did some serious shopping for my kids and it was so.much.fun! I feel a little guilty, like I did something wrong, but it also feels so good to spoil my babies.
I went to baby gap, and the entire store is buy one get another for 60% off.  So go, shop, and love.

Remember this dress? Well, it is even better in person, and I purchased it for my dress loving girl. oh, yes i did. She is going to LOVE it. I even bought it a little big so it has ultimate princess length and twirl potential.

Guess what is even better? I bought these shoes to go with it! They match perfectly. Grace Parker will refer to these as glass slippers, i GUARANTEE you!

She will be ripping off her P.J.'s on Christmas morning extra fast to put this little ensemble on. I can't wait!

Bulletin Board

I love this cute cork board! I think it would be so cute to hang two side by side in our utility room. It would be a fun spot for the kids special art work and birthday party invitations.
You can find it here!

Mr. Darcy Proposal

I love this Pride and Prejudice quote so sweetly placed on a baby onesie.

"In vain I have struggled. It will not do. My feelings will not be repressed. You must allow me to tell you how ardently I admire and love you."

SWEET. The end.

My Little Princess Would Approve

I love the sweet dresses at Baby Gap right now.
I also love that when I am searching at gap for Grace, she is still under the babyGap link, rather than the GapKids link. She is getting so big and I am holding on to the baby while I can.
I searched and I think out of the standard gymboree, old navy, crazy 8, and baby gap; baby gap wins for this seasons holiday dresses.

this one is my favorite out of the fancy dresses. Grace would LOVE this!
and this one would look so great with Grace's skin tone and dark hair. Have I mentioned that I really like animal print? I do. Really.
You can find these sweet styles here!

Thanksgiving Turkey Recipe

This is the Thanksgiving turkey recipe that Grace dictated to her pre-school teacher.

 It reads:

Ingredients: feathers, snacks, chocolate

Directions: Mix it up and put it in the oven and it will turn into my birthday cake in a long, long time.

i love my girl!
