Party #2

The day after we got home from Disney World we celebrated Grace's 4th birthday with all her best buddies at Jump On In. It was fun and easy, I just used what I had from her family party and she had a great time!

I just love this pic of my sisters and my brother-in-law. I do believe my sister Shannon jumped, climbed the rock wall, played air hockey, and played in the little batting cage. Grant and Jeremy played foosball with all the kids. Fun was had by all :)

my little girl LOVES her cousins!!!

I ordered the rainbow cupcake toppers from my favorite etsy party store, Ciao Bambino. I have used them several times and everything is always fabulous.

Grace helped me make the rainbow paper chain for the tables and my lollipop centerpieces looked cute. I had decided on the rainbow theme after we reserved the jump place, and It worked perfectly. The walls, the chairs...everything matched perfectly :)

Grace and Ms. Scarlett Fiona

This was her invitation. I purchased it from Mommies Ink and I think it turned out so cute!

Between her 2 parties and Hello, disney world, I think this birthday will be hard to beat. I need to now bring her back down to earth. I girl can get used to this, you know!

Party #1

The week of Grace's 4th birthday is here and the festivities have begun! Over the weekend we had a little party at the house for her with family. Coming up we will have a party with all her friends at a local jump place. I planned a rainbow themed party for her this year. I figured the jump place is all primary colors, so I just went with it. Rainbow it is!

Ashley gave me the idea to make lollipop centerpieces.  Hers were way cuter than mine, but these are fun and I am happy I will be able to use them at the jump party too!

I filled a vase with skittles and added another vase of flowers.

I had some party poms from Dean's party and my mom made me some more to complete the rainbow. I love these hanging from my chandelier. They are easy and so festive.
here is my precious, precious girl. She was so excited, and looked mighty cute in her rainbow SheShe dress!

my friend Kelly made this fun rainbow wreath for my door. I adore this.

                  The happy birthday girl!

and the cake...oh the cake. It was amazing! My parents ordered this from Suzy Beez and it was rainbow perfection.

It was such a fun party, and the fun is just beginning around here. Lots more pictures to come!!!

Dean's 2nd Birthday Party

I had so much fun planning Dean's party! I might or might not have began purchasing things for it here and there 6 months in advance. I have problems people, problems.

I was inspired by a little green, orange, and blue party I saw online and I just went from there.

I got this cute door sign from my favorite party paper store, Ciao Bambino! The colors I wanted matched her jungle line, so she just made it for me without the animals.

Ciao Bambino also made these "2" birthday stickers. They were so cute and easy to stick on the serving containers and the drink cups. I also just fell in love with these cute straws, and I thought the orange and green cream sodas were fun! I pulled the orange lava lamp from Dean's room and put cutie pie pics of him on the tables.

I tried to do all green, orange, and blue food. So, we had blue m&m's, spinach wraps, cantaloupe, honey dew, goldfish, carrots, and celery!

The party poms hanging from the chandelier make it so festive, and I love that my mom knows how to make these now! They are also on etsy at Party Poms! Bonus? I get to re-use these for Grace's upcoming birthday party!

The cake was baked by a local bakery called Suzybeez. And see those cute, colorful polka dots on there? They are fondant toppers from Kids Cakes. These are great, and inexpensive. You can choose any color combo.

                                 singing to my big boy!

Here is the birthday boy in his sweet party shirt from She She Made.

I can't believe my baby boy is 2!! I have plans to remain in denial and continue to over baby him. Yes, that is my plan. I like it.

Grace's 3rd Birthday

We had Grace's 3rd Birthday at Gymboree and it was SO fun! It was totally worth the expense, the kids had a blast and it was way easier on me than having her party at home. We did another little princess theme, (yes, 2 years in a row) although we didn't do too much. I found some adorable princess party goods at Ciao Bambino on etsy.
I purchased these cupcake toppers and you can choose the hair color of your princess.

Here is a better example of the cupcake toppers

You can see I used the same round top collection castle she had at her 2nd birthday party. It is just a great piece!

I bought the cute favor bags at Hobby Lobby and filled them with princess crayons, princess fruit snacks, jewelry and a feather boa for the girls. The boys got these bubble "swords" that I found at walmart for a lovely $1.00 each! The tags were adorable and also from Ciao Bambino.
Here is a more clear example of similar favor tags

My little birthday princess blowing out the candles on the giant, adorable cupcake her Pops made her!

                                        Party Friends!
Grace's party outfit was made by She She Made and I LOVE it. Is is made so well and it wasn't too birthday-ish, so Grace has been able to wear it over and over again.

Her invitations from Ciao Bambino looked very similar to this.
After gymboree we went back home with family to open presents. While we were there a little someone stopped by the house named Cinderella. It was PERFECT!
Grace will soon be four. I can't believe it. I have always felt that 3 is still holding on to baby, but 4 is a little kid. I love this line I read on the Baby Bangs blog this week....
"Don't you wish you could go back and experience the birth of your children with your heart full of everything you know and love about them now? I suppose it would be too much joy for the human heart to bear."
Oh, how I love and adore my sweet Grace Parker!

My Baby Boy's First Birthday

For Dean's first birthday, we planned a retro sock monkey party with family. He didn't understand what all the hoopla was about, but he was so stinkin' cute!!!!

I found these cute invitations on etsy. Are you surprised?

My sister, Shannon, bought this sock monkey for D-Jax for Christmas, and it was perfect on the table. I found the little stick centerpiece, the banner, and the door sign at Ciao Bambino. They were perfect! I found the sock monkey fabric on etsy as well, and it made a cute table cloth.
The sock monkey cookies were oh, so very cute, and made by Sweet Essentials. She does such a fabulous job!

I loved Dean's cake. My dad made it, and it was as yummy as it was cute! The sock monkey cake topper is from Spirit Mama. It is hand made from clay. Yes, it was $35, but it is something that we will have forever. It was adorable. We also found these edible fondant sock monkey faces at Clineffs Confections. Perfect right?

My dad used the extra faces on cupcakes for the kids

                                 My sweet birthday boy!

                                                   I.LOVE.HIM.

He loves this napmat that my mamaw had made for him!

My happy birthday boy is now almost 2! He is talking more and more everyday, he is bursting with energy, so full of personality, and he brings me and his daddy SO much joy!!
