Remember me?

Remember me? No, nothing? I guess not, seeing that it has been well over a month since I posted.
I promise to be back..sometime....eventually.....hopefully not too many more absent days on here.

In the meantime, here are my precious little ones. You know, the ones who create the too busy to blog area of my life :)

Merry Christmas from our family to yours!!!

The Stand Up Dress

For a long time now Grace has used the term "stand-up dress". It is a phrase she came up with and it is heard in my home every. single. day. Grace likes to wear dresses. But not just any dress, it must be a "stand-up dress" A stand up dress twirls. It passes the stand up test......you have to be able to lift the dress so your arm is horizontal and the fabric stands up. See photo below:

This dress from Doll Up My Doll passes the stand up dress test for sure.

Oh silly Mulan. You do NOT pass the stand up dress test. You are hardly a princess.

This Slice of Heaven Dress is a pass!

Grace would welcome this Rose Garden dress from Francoise Lama-Solet Studio

and this stand up dress from Sweetie Pie Design is sweet indeed. :)

My mom and I were cracking up at Grace last week. My mom was kind enough to be offering a new dress or two from Target for Grace, and Grace would not give a second glance to one single dress. She would perform the "stand up" arm test, the dress would fail, and Grace would walk away.

Here is Grace about 2 years ago...already doing the stand-up dress check

This one passed :)

My Life is Surrounded by Cuteness

Lately I have been feeling so THANKFUL for the little joys that fill my everyday. It is in the little things...like finding matchbox cars in my shoes, showering in a shower covered in foam letters and numbers, a bedside table that holds a video monitor with a picture of my sleeping son.
I am doing what I dreamed of doing as a little girl. I am a mommy. Sometimes Often I am exhausted. Sometimes I am overwhelmed.
But I am thankful. I am living my dream.

My days are filled with super heroes. Dean is constantly fighting the bad guys,Yoda, Anakin, or Captain Hook.

I get to kiss my little ones all day, as much as I want. This photo was taken by miss Grace Parker.

Every night Jeremy puts Grace down for bed. Here he had just returned from a hunting trip. You can't tell because of my flash, but  they are reading in a dark room with the cap light on Jeremy's hat. This girl loves her daddy.

                              Be still my heart.

My Dean buddy has really started to cheese it up for the camera. We have a photo shoot coming up for the kids....should be entertaining :)

We are missing our sweet friends , but thankful we had a fun day at the pumpkin patch with these little ones before they left.

My sweet girl. She loves all things princess and her days are filled with dresses, glass slippers, costumes, twirling, and a general fairy tail outlook on life.

Thankful for beautiful weather and picnic lunches outside with these guys

My boys. LOVE them both so much. My children totally lucked out with Jeremy for a daddy. They have so much respect for him, and he is absolutely their favorite playmate. He is just a big kid.

and miss Grace Parker. This girl knows how to pose for the camera.

We have been taking a lot of joy rides in the princess cruiser.

umm.......yes. My kids have serious personality.

This picture kills me. Look at her face!

See? Seriously knows how to work a camera.

We had a FUN day yesterday at Dewberry Farm! The kids had a blast. There is so much to do there, I don't think we even covered half of the activities.

I guess this is all just to say, that even though my days can be draining, and sometimes I feel like I can't balance it all and I am falling short of my own expectations, at the end of the day I am still surrounded by joy, blessings, and purpose. I am doing what I have always wanted to do....and it is even better then I had imagined. I mean....I couldn't have thought up this extreme level of cute :)

Cousin Camp

I once had a plan to blog everyday......umm...so not happening right now. Things are crazy around here. The kids are starting mothers day out/preschool in less then two weeks, and I am not sure if I want to jump up and down or cry. I cherish these days with my little ones, but working at home with a 2 and 4 year old is hard people!
This week my amazing parents hosted cousin camp for their 4 grand babies. They had SO much fun. I was happy to be around for a good portion of cousin camp and I got lots of good pics.

My cute mom made this banner!

Grace and Dean went to the beach for the first time and they would have stayed forever. Here is my dad....so in love with these kids

This Week in Cell Phone Pics

Here is some recent lovelies from my cell phone.

We recently started Dean is a SoccerTots program. He loves it! It helps with his coordination, but he really is benefiting from the socialization and learning to follow instructions. I love this pic. They were supposed so jump over the noodles in this exercise. My little man just decided to use the noodle as a sword. A second before this pic was taken he hit Jeremy with the noodle and said "Aye-ya!"

my babies....Dean is just beginning to ham it up for the camera.

Dean got a haircut last week. He sat in this car chair and said "I Handsome"

here is another beauty that Dean somehow created, and then saved to my cell phone. I always come across these.

My dad got back from a long business trip to China last week and I am in love with the silky china p.j.'s he brought back for the kids. They love them too. Dean's have a dragon on them, which he is slightly excited about!

Here is another piece of work by Dean Jackson.

A couple days ago I braved the extreme heat and took my littles to get a snow cone. I have a feeling we will be back there often in the coming weeks.

My parents bought Dean these new boots and I believe his life is now complete. :)

I love him so much. So, so much.

My pretty girl trying on some accessories while we shopped.
I'll be back with more etsy finds tomorrow! Night night!
