For Dean's first birthday, we planned a retro sock monkey party with family. He didn't understand what all the hoopla was about, but he was so stinkin' cute!!!!
I found these cute invitations on etsy. Are you surprised?
My sister, Shannon, bought this sock monkey for D-Jax for Christmas, and it was perfect on the table. I found the little stick centerpiece, the banner, and the door sign at Ciao Bambino. They were perfect! I found the sock monkey fabric on etsy as well, and it made a cute table cloth.
I loved Dean's cake. My dad made it, and it was as yummy as it was cute! The sock monkey cake topper is from Spirit Mama. It is hand made from clay. Yes, it was $35, but it is something that we will have forever. It was adorable. We also found these edible fondant sock monkey faces at Clineffs Confections. Perfect right?
My dad used the extra faces on cupcakes for the kids
My sweet birthday boy!
I.LOVE.HIM.
He loves this napmat that my mamaw had made for him!
My happy birthday boy is now almost 2! He is talking more and more everyday, he is bursting with energy, so full of personality, and he brings me and his daddy SO much joy!!
He looks like such a sweet little boy!! Love the sock monkey theme too. When I was pregnant with Ava and we didn't know the gender yet I wanted to do sock monkey for a boy nursery. It's my favorite. Does that surprise you since we have the same taste?!? haha!
